got a expulsion from University. What should I do?

hey, I go to University of Georgia and I'm an international student who has a student visa f-1. I'm a junior now has 64 credits and 15 credits more after this semester ends. My gpa is like 2.85 something now.
I got a mail that I got expulsion from college after this semester because of violation of
academic honesty.

I got caught on cheating first time on last year, and second time on this year for minimal
homework for copying online source without citation.
After I got caught on second violation of academic honesty for plagiarism, I had a multiple
violations meeting that would decide my additional sanctions.
The teacher made a letter for that meeting that it was minimal homework and do not
want to ruin my life by expelling from college but she did not dismissed the case.
I thought this letter might help little on the meeting but consequently I got expulsion.
I also got a email that my SEVIS record will be terminated on 5/11/12 and there will be no
mercy period because of expulsion which is negative one.
Now, I petitioned to the results because I had a chance to appeal it, and I am still waiting
for the decision. But I asked them when I would get a decision but they said it is up to Vice president of Academic affairs who is reviewing my case.

I have no idea what should I do.
I know I have to depart this country before 5/11/12 but I am wondering if I have a chance
to study here again.

I really need some advice....

Should I restart to college for CC ? or should I transfer to another university?
I have lack of information about universities that accepts a student who has a record of violation.

Does anyone know universities that accepts students like me?

Please help!

First off, Plagiarism whether you did not intend it to be that way is very serious in college!
The thought that this is the second time you were caught and you should know better!

If you were my child I’d be very upset at the same time feel for you!
if you plan to transfer to other universities, I’m sure you’ll be asked why you want to transfer, and an expulsion from a university for one reason or another is a serious case!
Plus your F-1 visa might be revoked!

I think you need to speak to someone who knows more about this kind of cases, I’m sure you’re not the only one!
best wishes.

Hey what happened with your appeal? Did they change their decision? My brother has been expelled from college as well and we are reviewing whether to appeal it or not. Let me know

Firstly you should have known better than to cheat but hey everyone mistakes afterall we’re only human. I doubt a CC will accept you because you already have quite a few college credits and that’s usually for people who can’t afford to their full degree at a 4 year school plus many don’t have student housing so you would have to find somewhere to rent which depending which state you want to study at could be quite expensive. You could try and transfer but you would have to tell them why you want to transfer or maybe you could transfer to a college back in your home country and then do your masters degree etc at a another US insitution? Just an idea.

I took off a semester.
I applied to few universities and was accepted from 4 schools.
Among them, I picked university of xxxx (I do not want to make it public)

It was nightmare for me. While applying to other universities, I sent high school transcript and SAT score so that I could prove I was a good student (3.8 gpa and 1900~2000 sat score) In addition, I explained what happened in my previous school.
Do not think your life is end already.

glad you got your life back on track. everyone deserves another chance and never give up on your aspirations!
