Got Accepted But...

i got accepted to UCI however I’m not very happy

because

i have a F in Calculus right now :frowning:

I want to raise it up to atless a C however my teacher is not going to give many opportunities to raise my grades because the APs are coming up…

I’m afraid I might end up with a F or D…

If I do, is there any solutions to prevent UCI from taking away my acceptance letter?

summer school?
excuses?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I dropped physic… and havent reported it yet… I’m in a big doo doo…

well i forget but i thnk u must have a 3.0 UCweighted gpa overall but I'm not sure if they automatically kick you out for having a D or F.

hmmm, I would talk to your counselor as SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Send UCI a letter explaining the situation BEFORE they get a chance to do anything.

thanks for the advice everyone

dude. same here, got accepted into UCI, but i havent been doing jack sh!t in econ ap, and im failing that course! im in such deeep sh!t....argh, how do they calculate UC GPA can someone teach me?

UC GPA is basically an extra point for AP and certain honor classes. Disregard non-academic classes, such as PE, when calculating. Theres a website that tells you which classes the UC weights, but I can't remember the address. Sorry.

My biggest fear is also that i will get my decision revoked from college if i get a D or a Fail. I was expecially worried about my stats class cuz i had a D in my midterm but thank god I managed to raise it up to a B. Now, I just really want to keep that B cuz I don't want to fall in a big hole in which I feel that I can't out. Maintaining a 3.0 is harder than I thought it would be. I mean I am used to having a 4.2 UC GPA.
