I just got accepted to Cal Poly SLO today for early decision, and I'm worried because the GPA I listed on my application was higher than my GPA on my transcript (it was based on THIER scale, as instructed: 9th-11th grades, weighting 8 semesters including honors + AP). In the terms and conditions of being accepted it said "you have accurately and completely self-reported the information contained on your Application" I'm worried because when I submit my transcript it won't be the same GPA, because my school doesn't weight honors. I was doing it right when I sent it based on their scale right?! I'm so excited but worried that my admission could be cancelled if I did something wrong, it's light .07 higher total. Am I ok?

You’re just fine. Congratulations, and enjoy the moment.

So I shouldn’t worry? I’ve got so many things running through my mind I’m actually confused righte now

your fine if it was 7 instead of .07 you might be in a little trouble enjoy celebrate.

Exactly. Now go change your facebook status, or run around the house naked and screaming, or go party with your buds–whatever seems right.

how about all at the same time!

Congratulations!

How long ago did you apply? sounds like a very fast turnaround!

Thanks, I applied early decision on 10/01 I believe, it was very fast turnaround and I’m glad to be done with the process

Congrats! Was your acceptance on the site or regular mail?

It was on the site for the colleges portal. I got an email a few hours after and they said I should be getting something in the mail shortly.
