How do you respond to this? Will typing out “I have a B” suffice? Do you need to post proof? Has anyone ever had to submit proof after answering this question?
Dear David,
We have received your University of California Undergraduate Application for Admission and Scholarships. Thank you for
your interest in our campus.
We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach an admission decision,
we need the following information from you:
Please email me a midterm grade for Math 47: Mathematics for Liberal Arts. Thank you.
We must receive this information within five days of this message date, or processing of your application may be delayed
or canceled.
@pleaseberkeley If you can, I would probably take a screenshot displaying your midterm grade, which will probably be better proof. Midterm grades usually aren’t official as opposed to end-of-term grades which show up on the transcript.
I wouldn’t worry too much though - just send them that; if they need more proof, they will contact you.
@pleaseberkeley you could go to commonapp website, where they have a form for midterm report. I think you could use that
@MITer94 my prof. Has not given us that grade update, i literally have no idea what my midterm grade is
Email your professor and request the information ASAP. Explain that the university is asking for it to complete reviewing your application. You can use his/her reply email to send to the school.
@NorthernMom61 What I don’t understand is if it necessary to post a picture. What would I even do screenshot an email of my teacher telling me I have a B or C assuming he gets back to me in time?
You could probably forward the professor’s email.
@pleaseberkeley If you have a Mac: it’s command, shift, 4 pressed all at once and it will let your cursor take a screen capture of the screen.
