<p>So i received an loa, today, but i am very confused. The regional office emailed me before this, (Oct 27) and told me that i failed the cfa, and I had to retake it, but the loa makes no mention of this, but only the nomination. Does this mean i have passed the cfa after all, or am i still supposed to take the CFA?</p>

<p>Yes, you’ll have to pass the CFA if, as you’ve noted, you have yet to do so. LOA simply indicates you will receive an appointment IF you complete all necessary steps, including being 3Qed and nominated.</p>
