Got denied and ignored by City College 2 times!?

I wonder why and need help! I just wanna know where did I wrong.
I have graduated from Hostos community college, i know its reputation is below avarage among cuny schools.
Secondly, maybe my age, im 40 yrs old, I dropped my school 20 years ago because of family issues.
I graduated from this school with 3.7 gpa, and all i want to be a science teacher. I mean im not trying to get in super high demand majors like nursing, engineering.
I applied through my school transfer office which im regretted now, they were little bit mess.
Anyway, i wonder what could it be the reason for my rejection, if its my age I understand but if its not I would like to know…:frowning:

@Haretzel

CUNY Community College Graduates
If you have graduated or will graduate from a CUNY community college and would like to apply to a CUNY four-year
college, you must complete a Transfer Admission Application.* Admission to a CUNY four-year college is guaranteed,
although not necessarily to your first choice program or college, if you meet the following conditions:
• you have earned an A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree with a 2.0 GPA or higher.**

@Haretzel

I would contact CUNY UAPC and talk to them about some options. For example, if you should file an appeal or if it’s possible to add other colleges for processing.

Note: Always apply to more than one CUNY schoo. You will have more choices and chances.
