Hey I received my Ross prefered admitacceptance letter on 2/11.

My stats are as follows

3.72 UW, 6 AP's, the rest honors classes
4.0 UMich GPA
1510 old SAT, 2230 new SAT
president stock market club
internship at New York City investment managment company
other meaningless clubs
alot of village community service hours

amazing essays on corporate greed, stock market, finance

im so excited, i didnt even think I had a chance, i thought it was basically a lottery ticket.

Let me get this straight, you are a 4.0 student with a 1500+ on the SAT and you didn't expect to get into Ross?! Dude, Ross is tough, but it ain't Harvard! hehe Congratulations. Hopefully, you will join the largest college family on Earth.

Alexandre, you laugh at my trepidation. I was scared because I was first deferred from the Cornell AEM program, which is much easier to get into than Ross. Can you explian that?

I am not laughing, but students with your stats have a shot anywhere. As for Cornell, don't sweat it, Michigan provides a better undergraduate experience...take it from an alum of both school.
