Got JP Morgan offer.. whats next

Can anyone tell me what the post-offer, pre-internship process is like? I got in sales and trading, and I was wondering if there will be network events, get togethers for the new interns, and etc. And what are the paperwork like? I know for international students you will have to send in Visa apps in order to work for summer.. so what about US citizens? What type of official documentation do they require? Any other stuff I should prepare to send in?

You will receive an offer letter packet from HR. You will have to complete a series of forms (including signing the actual contract, signing an information release form for background check purposes, etc.). Once you sign the paperwork, you will need to attach 1) all educational transcripts for schools (college/HS) listed on your resume and 2) employment verification letters from all previous employers listed on your resume.

Yeah don't worry about it, HR will specify everything you need to do. Congrats! Just relax now, its a great feeling to be done with the process.

As far as networking stuff, I don't think most of that happens until you start training, at least at most of the banks I know of.

Do the stuff they tell you to do and hope that between now and then they don't cancel your offer.

Congrats on the internship though. My search has been so fruitless I'm just about ready to give up.
