<p>well if you are looking to form a band, you need people right ? so if you got the right type of people it shouldn’t be too hard. most people are pretty down to do whatever. </p>

<p>aim for 650-800 on the SAT IIs, and if you are an science/engineering major, aim for 750+ on math II and 750 + on one of the sciences.</p>

<p>it wont be an issue because there is a good bus system but do plan on bringing a bike or a skate/long board.</p>

you pick your classes for fall during orientation, if you are in the CoE, you basically have what classes you will take planned out for the next 4 years. :confused:
if you are in L&S , your orientation advisor will let you know what classes to take. </p>

since you are an EE, you only go up to chem 1b Lab, they are relatively easy but they take a long time to do, and the lab reports are … </p>

<p>UCSB is on a quarter system and engineering majors typically need to take 5 classes during fall.</p>

<p>Does the school use drug dogs in dorm searches or car searches, or have you heard of anyone getting busted? what is the schools policy on medical marijuana? i dont want to be penalized for taking my medicine.</p>

<p>you should receive the admission letter within the end of may for freshmen and end of june for transfers.</p>

<p>What is there to do during the night, besides partying? Is there restaurants, shopping centres, etc. that you can go to to hang out? How far is UCSB from L.A?</p>

<p>Well other than partying, there are lots of things going on inside the campus, like laughology, and yea a lot of people go to downtown for a good time with friends.</p>

<p>is there a way to commute back to the Bay Area D:(thats reasonably price :D, also how) UCSB is like 5-6 hour drive from home :(</p>

<p>^Amtrak or Greyound bus. I’m not a current student but I’ve looked into these. Greyhound can get you to and from Oakland for around $95.</p>
