Got scholarship offer but no mention of Pell or Cal grants I know I qualify for?…

For which school and is the scholarship merit based or need based?

Chapman. Merit based. But our EFC was 0 on FASFA so I know we should be getting Pell and cal state grants. Just trying to find out when those come out.
And wondering if they didn’t offer any need based bc they assumed we couldn’t pay??

According to Chapman’s website:

Within the first few weeks of being admitted, you will receive an email to your personal email account with instructions on how to log-in to the Student Center and PantherMail accounts. More on how to activate these accounts can be found on the First-Year Student Checklist.

  • Make sure to activate these accounts so you can review updates to your financial aid as well as view the Student Center To-Do List for any additional documents that are needed to complete your file.

So based on this, it may be a couple of weeks before your full financial package is posted.

Got it. Makes sense. I got on the FASFA site and says mid year grades must be sent in or something like that so hoping that’s the case.
