I understand that a lot of people double major at Wesleyan, as they don't offer minors. Would it be a terrible idea to double major in Government and MB&B with premed requirements?
The two hardly overlap, and the premed requirements would be another burden (although most of them would be covered by MB&B). Any thoughts?

This is doable, but that doesnt mean its a good idea. Your goal should be to major in departments that are the most academically enjoyable and rewarding to you. I would recommend that you to take a varied selection of classes before you commit yourself to a difficult and inflexible academic schedule. (This is encouraged by Wesleyans distribution requirements.) So take a couple gov and mb&b classes but dont decide just yet. By the time you need to declare a major youll have a better sense of what you like and also how strenuous a schedule you can handle.
