I live in TN and applied to my state’s governors schools. I also applied to other prestigious summer programs. How do colleges view Gov School programs? With the same prestige?

Some summer programs are not so much prestigious, as expensive. In our state, Gov schools are strictly merit-based and low or no cost. Gov schools are highly regarded.
@hayisforhorse Depends on your other summer programs! If it is RSI, then I would say go RSI. If it’s some shady program with a lack of prestige, then I would consider gov school instead. Do some research and look into the quality of each internship!
