<p>I was just wondering if going to governor school is better than summer programs at colleges or similar?...because summer programs are far too expensive to afford for sum ppl (ME!!)....and da fact that summer porgrams are basically pay your way in...</p>

<p>It really depends on the summer program. Some are pay-your-way, some are very selective, some are in-between. For that matter, there's a range of selectivity in Governor's Schools as well.</p>
<p>most governor's school happen in colleges in the same setting, so if cost is the main parameter, then, yes, gov schools better! afterall, u can pay and get in summer programs while Gov Schools r far more selective. :)</p>
