Trying to calculate my gpa for UC’s and CSU’s since I will be applying there. Im not sure if you are familiar with this but my school adopted some dumb new math path called integrated math, Going Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, … Anyways they offered an accelerated course of it as well, for 2 and 3, those being called Integrated Math 2 + and Integrated Math 3+. For GPA, my school counted it as the same value as an AP (5) on a 4.0 scale ( to be fair the classes were notably harder and the average grade was probably a low B.) I am wondering if UC’s will also approve of it as an advanced class that receives 5 points instead of 4 like a regular class. Does anyone know by chance.
Here is a link in which you can look up the UC approved Honors/AP/IB classes that will get you the extra honors points in the UC/CSU GPA calculation.

CSU capped weighted GPA= UC capped weighted UC GPA
So do CSU’s use 9th, 10th, and 11th grade for calculating GPA? My UC GPA right now is 4.07, and it would go down for CSU’s if they do that since I got like a 3.6 as I was under the impression freshman grades didnt mean anything for colleges.
UC’s and CSU’s use 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation. Freshman grades are reviewed to make sure you pass the a-g courses and Senior grades maintain your provisional admission (passing your a-g courses with a C or higher).
Cal Poly SLO is the only CSU that uses 9-11th grades in their GPA calculation but they still cap the extra honors points to AP/IB or UC approved Honors courses taken 10-11th grades. You can use the CSU or UC GPA calculator and just add your 9th grades.
