gpa calculation

<p>I have a question regarding GPA calculation. In high school you receive typically semester grades. So two grades for basically one class. However I took two college classes over the summer. I will be issued one grade but a 3 semester unit college class is typically equivalent to one year hs class. Will the college classes typically counted when computing gpa for admissions?</p>
