Hi, so this might be in the wrong forum but whatever. I was just wondering if the GPA from one school carries over to the other. Or does your GPA "reset". It is my understanding that they do reset, BUT the grades you received still follow you and stay on your record. Long story short, I attended a school in Maine and didn't exactly receive the best GPA there. I transferred to a community college where I have a much better GPA. I plan on transferring soon. So when I do research into schools that I might have interest in or when I actually do apply, would I use my old GPA, my new GPA, or I guess you could call it my "combined" GPA?

You should use your combined GPA. You will also need to send the transcripts from all the schools you’ve attended. It will be obvious to an admissions office you are doing better which is good.
