GPA/Class Rank = not TOO important in determining if you're admitted to USC or not?

<p>So... a student with a 3.3 GPA, a good essay, and a 2300 on his SAT has a better shot at being admitted than a student with a 4.0 GPA, and 1900 essay?</p>
