My school does out of a 100 GPA and mine was a 97.3429/100.
How does that add up on a 4.0 scale, and also maybe 5.0 because I took an AP class.
Also my rank is 21/ 389, is that bad for selective schools?

It doesn’t convert that simply.
In general, colleges won’t be converting the score. But to illustrate why it’s not that simple, some people may have a 97 average that didn’t have a wide range of grades. Maybe their highest was 99 and lowest 95. Most would consider that a 4.0. Others with a 97 average may have a wider range with the highest being a 100, most other grades mid to upper 90’s buy one grade that was an 89. That could be a 3.97 something.
Really though, it’s not necessary to convert it or worry about it.
Does your high school even report rank? Many don’t anymore.
