<p>I’m trying to apply for cal poly slo but I realized they take into account your freshmen year. I didn’t do too well during my freshmen year. (3.00) But my UC GPA is 3.95. So according to cal poly i have a 3.63(?). With a 3.63 do I still have a chance help?</p>

<p>if you’re applying to the engineering department that probably won’t be good enough as it is really impacted. if not, then you should be good</p>
<p>My daughter applied as freshman with 4.03 (Kines) in 2009 she was not admitted. She went to Cuesta and we are trying again!</p>
<p>Well, your GPA is just a part of it. They look to the classes you have taken and the scores you get on the ACT or the SAT. Just apply. Otherwise, you will always wonder. If you look at some of the posts on this forum regarding admissions, you will see that GPA is not the whole picture. Good luck to you!</p>
