Hi, I was looking at next year’s courses on my son’s schedule and noticed the third trimester has a different course number which is not on the high school’s A-G list. So not only will the third trimester not get an extra GPA point for being AP, but it won’t even be included in the UC GPA because it’s not on the A-G list. The high school refers to the third trimester of an AP class as “——- AP Seminar.” While the first two trimesters are named “——- AP.”
I just wanted to mention this because others who are in high schools on the trimester system may experience this also.
