GPA from transferring schools? (out of state)

I'm really clueless on this topic because I have never been to a public school in my life. I used to live in Hawaii and I was attending a private college prep school, and I had taken 2 honors courses my freshmen year; HO world civ/world history and HO english. I moved to California specifically Saratoga and am currently attending Saratoga High School. So I didn't know that the people over here in CA would be able to tweak my GPA.

So I went into the Registrars office because I had seen my transcript when guidance came to visit. And I had seen that one of the honors courses i had taken had not been counted which mean my gpa dropped at least a little because I had a B+ on the honors course. So I went in and asked the registrar and she replied to me that she couldn't count the two honors courses I had taken in hawaii because it would be unfair to the kids over here, because they can only take one honors course or none at all.

But I recently found out that one of my friends who transferred here from another school in a unified school district had like 4 honors courses and they counted all for her. Including classes that they didn't even offer at this school. I thought it was really unfair for them not to count mine just because it was from a different state? I don't know if this is right or not, because I know that even a .1 in difference in your GPA can really make a big difference later for rankings.

I've been asking the registrar questions but she seems to be getting tired of me and doesn't even consider it. She just says it's not fair for the students here, but I don't get how that it's fair for me. I'm sorry for the long post, but this issue has been bothering me ever since I moved. I don't know who else to go to. I feel that I have to go to them ASAP with this issue again or they won't be able to do anything because it's almost the end of the year already. Would you please give me some suggestions or some of you knowledge on what to do?

Go up to them, bring friend as example that had 4 honors. Unfair treatment.
Do not sit back on this, I’m saying this from experience.

i’ve thought of this but since i’m new and everything she’s not really a close close friend? and what if they take her credit off or something? is there any other option or way?

so what if she loses credit? If she gets credit, so do you. If you don’t get credit, neither should she.

right but the problem is that they keep saying it’s because the school she came from was in a unified school district with the school we’re currently going to. but they can’t give it to me because it’s not fair to the other students here… but i don’t get that either because it’s totally not fair to me. she has it right now but I don’t. So I don’t know what to do. I tried talking to her but she said it’s policy, but i don’t think she’s even looked into it. By the wayy it’s a public school in Saratoga, CA if i forgot to mention that. Any suggestions of what to do?

lol saratoga high school, the school of massive grade inflation

?? @truff whats grade inflation? and i never knew lol but yeah my grades are being counted as rly low from my school in hawaii… when i had like a 4.3 GPA… it’s has gone down to about idk but lower than a 4.1 i’m pretty sure
