GPA has not been so hot.

Freshman 1st semester, I had a 3.8 GPA (weighted) and a 3.5 (unweighted). After then, my average GPA has been 3.2 and Junior year I got straight C's. It's not the best but I was in the IB Diploma and the whole system wasn't working well for me and how I was educated. Now, if Senior Year, I hit straight A's or something along those lines... what colleges should I apply for? I live in the state of Colorado and am interested in Pharmacy. Out-of-state is an option but I might transfer out after 2 years at a state university near home. Alright, thank you for all your help!

Right now, what is your cumulative GPA? Is it a 3.2?

Frankly, the amount that your parents can afford to pay will largely determine where you should apply. What are your parents saying? If you haven’t asked them, then do so.

BTW…senior year grades won’t help much. When you are accepted, only one semester of senior grades will have posted. 1 semester out of 7 semesters won’t bump your GPA that much.

Yeah, it is cumulative so far.

Oh, well we’re financially stable. So anywhere is fine really. I was planning probably a state college within Colorado for 2 years and then transfer out after I’m done with pre-reqs for pharmacy.

And yes, I agree with you. But it’ll show somewhat of an effort made to state that I wasn’t lazy right?

First you really think you can turn a solid 2.0 into a 4.0? That would be pretty dramatic. Is your 3.2 avg GPA weighted or UW? Financially stable in most families doesn’t necessarily mean parents are willing to spend $50K/year. Are yours? Ask the question.
