Is your GPA a major factor for Med schools? If I do this certain major I can get a pretty high GPA, but if I do this other one it'll be like .3 or .4 points lower. So should I go with the one that gets be a higher GPA? Also, I like both of them and I wouldn't mind taking either major.

Go for the one where you can get a higher one.

Think about it: Why would you want to do the other one if it's going to hurt your chances down the road, especially if you love them both?

Top med school formula:

MOST IMPORTANT:

GPA 3.8 and above
MCAT 35 and above
***must meet both, exceeding in one cannot make up for the other.

Secondary importance

decent research
healthcare volunteering is a must
foreign travel
other ECs

3rd tier importance

Recs and Essays

I don't know why you'd break those up into first, second, third. With the exception of foreign travel, those are all pretty much mandatory.

I agree but many people don't do all of them and then suffer for it.
