GPA not perfect?!Worries!??!

I'm a freshman in High School and last year everyone told us that the more advanced classes weren't that bad. Well I took all of them and now I have zero chances of getting a perfect GPA for college. I got B+ pluses in Enrich Geometry, AS English I, and World History of all things! I always got A's in middle school, but everything is so much harder! Also my parents got REALLY mad cause they are the kind that think that anything that's not an A is a failure. Even my teachers explained how its okay to get B's and that you learn from them, it doesn't help when my parents pressure me and yell at me. I feel really downcast knowing that my GPA can never be perfect. But can it?

Do semester final grades count much on college apps?
How would like Three B+'s affect my final grades and chances for Ivy League colleges?
How can I do better this semester!?!?

The reasons I got B's:
Geometry: Its very fast pace but I really do horribly on my tests. I KNOW everything and UNDERSTAND it but I just slip up on the tests. So badly that not even my final which I got an A on could raise it to an A- :'(
English: Another advanced class that mainly crippled because of the Summer reading test that I sorta got a D on because I forgot some religious content and didn't re-read the book after only reading it in the middle of the summer. >^<
Plus only B's and some A's on the essays and socratic seminars....
History: the Teacher and the student teacher hated my guts...so much... and they gave us quizzes right after reading the textbook at home by ourselves and I never had time because of my extracurricular activities and Band stuff.
Also as the previously mentioned student teacher gave me a horrible participation grade cause again He HATED me and I participated more than people who got A's for participation so there's your proof.

sorry but you’re a freshman… just do your best. freshman year isn’t look at as much as junior or senior so RELAX! just do you best and do well on SAT’s, get involved, you’ll be fine.
i can’t believe freshman are on here wow

Kid, you’re a freshman. Even a freshman at SITHS aren’t this wound up about college grades. Calm down.

Put simply, 3 B+'s aren’t gonna kill your shots at an Ivy. They wont do much at all. Ivys take kids with all kinds of stats variations, the lack of a 4.0 in some cases makes your app stand out more (Assuming you have amazing EC’s colleges are interested in).

So no, 3 B+'s aren’t the death knell of your Ivy education. And depending on how many classes you take a semester (and your grades there), you can still pull out a 3.9+ in high school. And if you don’t keep the grades up to such an exemplary level, don’t worry, there are many other solid schools out there.
