So I'm a transfer student; I transfered from community college into the University of California, Irvine. My gpa at my community college was around 3.5. Now, at Irvine, I just finished my first quarter and I got the following grades: A, B-, & C. I know it's not the best start; my total gpa now is a 2.9. I have only taken three classes, but I'm worried about my gpa. I'm thinking about either law, or grad, school; therefore, I was wondering how high may I raise my gpa from a pathetic 2.9. Please, advise? Thank you.
