GPA Question?

Hello fellow users! I want your two cents on my question - if I got a 4.0 GPA in every semester EXCEPT for freshman year where I got a 1.0GPA(all D’s) and a relatively good SAT score, plus a decent amount of EC’s that shows passion + commitment, do you think I have a shot at some good Universities? Like, University of Washington Seattle?

Intended Major: Computer Science
–also taking the most challenging courses available for my grade.
(by the way my cumulative GPA at the end of junior year with those stats would be around 3.3 BUT 4.0 in every semester after freshman year.)

EDIT: Actually I’m going to go to summer school so that 1.0 GPA freshman year will turn into a 2.0 GPA which will raise my CUM GPA to a 3.5 GPA. But, colleges will see that I got a 4.0 in 3 years of high school.

Ah, I’m slightly confused. You’ve already posted this question, and said it was your friend that needed help, not you?
But either way freshman year isn’t very important, but getting 4.0 after a 1.0 gpa seems impossible unless it was due to a serious hardship.

Wait, actually, all of your topics don’t really make sense and your stats fluctuate… why?
