<p>When people put their GPA's on the site is it out of 4.6 or 4.0? What scale are people using?</p>

<p>Some people here use unweighted GPA (out of 4.0) or weighted GPA, which gives more points for AP scores. Other schools have other systems, such as a number out of 100.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPAs are out of 4.0
Weighted GPAs give more value to AP classes, making the number in the higher 4s or 5s generally.</p>
