GPA Reconstruction help

Anyway, after some mediocre performances, one C and a few B’s (Took HOPE, SPANISH I and 2, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II), in high school classes in middle school, I walked into high school with a 2.7 unweighted GPA and a 3.0 weighted GPA. In my first year, I got these numbers up to 3.625 unweighted and 4.47 weighted. Boosting from rank 175 to 23. Now, I decided to take 4 AP classes (the only sophomore to do so) and 3 honors, and received straight A’s in my first semester. How much can my GPA boost and how much more work do I have to do to get my GPA beyond the 5.0 barrier? What kind of a rank should I be expecting after my semester grades are added to my GPA. My mom has been on my a*s about all this and I want to know what it takes to be the best student possible. Also, I would like to learn some good study habits, because I literally pulled an all-nighter for every test and procrastinated all my work. I find this a very poor study habit and I truly believe I need some help. Thanks ahead of time.

Besides that, some of the people loony about ranks have been threatening to sabotage my grades. They have even gone to insult me publicly. Why am I pissing people off?

Nobody can really help you with this because we don’t know how your GPA system works. You say you want to get past the 5.0 threshold? Most school GPA systems don’t get past that. An A in AP or IB class is a 5.0 and you obviously can’t make every single one of your classes an AP/IB class, so the max GPA at most schools is around 4.4-4.6.

Good study habits? First of all, don’t even think about procrastination. Once you get home, immediately get to work. It will seem painful at first, but trust me, it’s better than pulling an all-nighter. Study as you go along rather than deciding to do so the night before a test. It’ll stick in your memory better. Good luck!

well looks like I brought my GPA to a 4.7-ish and I’m rank 4 in my class now? What a strange occurrence. My mom managed to confiscate all my technology and she conditioned me to do my work. Thanks for all the advice! In Florida, we have this weird 6.0 threshold, maximum is usually about 5.19 believe it or not.
