I'm worried. My GPA (numerical and unweighted) is around a 96, and my class rank is right around the 5% mark. In a class of about 650 and in a district that isn't exactly known for stellar students, that's good number of kids who rank above me.

However, my SAT scores happen to be among the highest in our class - I have a 2320 (790M/740CR/780W) and nobody I've talked to so far has a higher score. With the exception of a huge fluke with the old SAT in 9th grade (and unreported middle school encounters), that's the only time I've taken it. My SAT IIs are all 770 and above...But I'm kind of worried that all my test scores will look like flukes. I actually DO think that they were flukes. I'm afraid to take the SAT again for fear that I'll score 200 points lower. I took only one practice test on just the reading section (the night before), and I didn't do so hot on it.

Combine that with the fact that I've only taken the test once, and my school's mediocre reputation...and I'm kind of a sketchy individual.

Is it really as bad as I think?
