When I submitted my Common App, I wrote my weighted GPA as 4.7. Because it is weighted, I thought that it was asking for the weighted scale, so I selected 5. But all of my regular classes are out of 4. Should I have selected 4 (as some of my classmates did)? If so, do you think this would impact admissions? I would appreciate your input.
Colleges will see your schools information from your counselor’s report and your transcript. One of those probably already had the scale on it. I don’t think it is that big of a deal. If you are really worried about it, you could email admissions, but I think it’s unnecessary.
