GPA- unweighted vs weighted

<p>Do selective or most selective colleges look at unweighted GPA? Or weighted?
Because if I have some B's in classes, unweighted my gpa is 3.7 but with weighted, its like 4.1
If I take AP/honors courses...</p>

<p>Would you recommend to take APs and get B+s or Level 1 (regular class) and get A's?</p>

<p>If you’re talking about W&M or UVA, weighted, but UW seems to be more common.</p>
