GPA vs. SAT at NYU

<p>I have an average GPA for NYU, a 3.6 unweighted and around a 4 weighted (forgot). Took the most advanced courses offered. </p>

<p>My SAT score is a 2300-2400 on average, above average for NYU. </p>

<p>Would my standardized test score make up for my crappy GPA?</p>

<p>And I have average extracurriculars: softball, volunteering at various places, Red Cross Club, online business, and job.</p>

<p>Anybody have experience with this? I want to apply to CAS.</p>

<p>that GPA is not bad. and your test scores are great! good luck, those look like GREAT stats to me!!</p>

<p>Those SAT scores will get you in for sure</p>

<p>For CAS? Those are absolutely fine. I know plenty of kids that did alot worse that got in.</p>
