Gpa

Hey! My name is Rafael and I am a Freshman.

So last semester I was striving for straight A's (as I'm sure every student does), and I ended up with: A, B+, B, B. All of those B's literally being a question away on the test to get an A in the class. I'm in Mechanical Engineering and now my GPA is a 3.1, I'm trying to get straight A's again this semester and hopefully get my GPA back up.

Also, last semester I was taking Calc I but felt as though I wasn't learning anything from my instructor so I dropped it and now I'm taking it again. Since I dropped it though, I am now a year behind.

Any comments? I just want to talk about all this and see what you guys think

Thanks!

Retaking one 3(or is it 4?) credit hour class makes you a year behind? wut.

only because in order to take physics I need to have already taken calculus I

lol, a year behind is an exaggeration. Perhaps taking two courses over the summer may help your situation though. But if you really think about it, a lot of people don’t even start with calculus their first college semester. I know I didn’t. Does that make them many more years behind than you are?

It’s all good, don’t sweat it.

Out of curiosity, which professor was it?

it was a TA, her name was Sahliha Pelivan
