What do they mean by cumulative GPA?
Is this the average of all 4 years of high school? If so, is this what they ask for on college applications, or do they look at each semesters GPA (individually)

Your GPA from freshman year to present. It is not an average because your course load may vary by semester. It may already appear on your transcript.
Colleges do ask for cum GPA.
