I’ve been reading through this forum and noticed that some people have GPA’s of 4.5-4.7 Yet the school I go to does not have enough Advanced Placement classes to allow me to get much higher than a 4.3 or 4.4 GPA (If I take all the AP’s and get A’s in all of them) I will definitely have lower GPA’s than some people yet there’s nothing I can do. How do you think colleges will look at this?

they won't care. Your school sends a score report, and from that they can tell how many extra points you can have added to your gpa

colleges ask your school how many aps are offered. they know that not everyone has the same opportunities, but they want to make sure that you took advantage of the opportunities that were available to you. if you have done so, you have nothing to worry about.

Colleges also recalculate your GPA to fit their own scale. You won't lose credit for going to a school that does not offer APs.
