<p>I'm a transfer student and the other day I sent off my official transcript to UT. When I looked at the transcript it showed my grades as well as GPA1 and GPA2.</p>

<p>GPA1 is my grade point average for all classes "taken that receive a performance grade". My GPA1 is a 3.85 with 40 hours.</p>

<p>GPA2 is the grade point average for all college level courses and excludes developmental classes. My GPA2 is a 4.0 with 37 hours. </p>

<p>I'm wondering what GPA UT will look at, GPA1 or GPA2?</p>

<p>My guess is that they will look at GPA 2 because I doubt the developmental classes will transfer. However, I would call admissions and ask. btw-- both gpa’s are good, so I wouldn’t stress too much over it if they say they’ll use GPA1.</p>
