Grad Life at UConn

<p>Hey all.</p>

<p>I'm starting grad school at UConn in the fall and was wondering what life's like for grad students.</p>

<p>Can anyone tell me anything about how intermingled the grads/undergrads are, like can grad students join club sports teams, do they go to the same parties as undergrads and/or where do grad students usually go to party and whatever, are grad students viewed as old people/outsiders, and just generally how's the quality of life/social life for grad students at UConn?</p>

<p>Graduate students can participate in almost all of the same activities as undergraduates. Depending on where you live (on-campus or off) you may be spending more or less time with graduate students. Of course, it is definitely possible to make friends. Your classes will be where you meet most of them. I believe the Graduate Student Senate puts on activities as well.</p>
