Grad school, BAD GPA, but lots of work exp

So here's the dealio....

I graduated from UCSD.
Studied abroad.
Work for a top company in the US.
Want to go to grad school.

But I had a bad GPA as an undergrad. Below 3.0. What international studies programs.... ie, international business/international management/international security, etc... are good to apply to?

Any other advice?

If you have been working in international business/mgmt./security, etc. your good work experience can make up for the bad GPA. A lot of MBA admission is based on your letters of recommendation. BUT you will have to check the situation with each of the schools that you are interested in. If you prefer to keep working while you are studying, you might be a good candidate for an "Executive MBA" program.

Way back in the last century I used to work in grad school placement. The only international program I can remember is Thunderbird. Thunderbird School of Global Management

Wishing you all the best.

How did you do in the GMATs? A strong score, coupled with strong work experience and excellent references, will make up for the average class grades. A not-so-hot score, however, indicates that your potential is pretty much limited to your undergrad performance.
