<p>When you guys put down your research experience on a resume/CV for grad school apps, what do you name your position? </p>

<p>Is it OK to call myself an "undergrad research assistant."
The labs here don't really use that term. We don't really have names for positions. Would it be considered lying if I called myself an undergrad RA?</p>

<p>I don’t think it would be a problem. You could also consider leaving such a title off. For example, my CV has the location, department, and PI. Then below that it provides details-- “Undergraduate Research Experience: one sentence blurb”</p>
