Grad School in a Plant Sciences program?

I am very interested in attending Cornell for grad school in Plant Sciences of some kind. I'm not certain exactly which area of plant studies I'd focus on, so any information you give would help.

I'm currently a junior at the University of Arkansas, majoring in crop, soil, and environmental science with a minor in biology. I am also in their Honors College and have a GPA of 3.51. This past summer, I participated in a summer internship provided by the National Science Foundation at the University of Minnesota, where I researched the growth of wild rice in two MN lakes.

If anyone could give advice about grad school at Cornell's plant sciences programs, I would certainly appreciate it please. :) Thank you very much!

this is the sort of thing you’d be better off asking a one of your plant science professors. the protocol for grad school apps varies even within different areas of science, so you really want to choose someone whose background is quite similar to what you’re going into.

you can see a list of the Cornell plant bio faculty here:

Thanks so much! I’ll follow your advice.
