Grad School options?

I am currently a senior graduating in the spring of 2014 from University of South Florida with my bachelors in Electrical Engineering and I'm trying to figure out which graduate schools to apply for. I have finished all but 3 of my major classes and I will be graduating with a 3.75 GPA and about a year of undergraduate research experience, but no publications yet (still got a while to do this though, and might have one very soon). I have not taken the GRE yet... and I'm not sure how seriously to take this test. One other thing on my application is I have done one CO-OP and worked full/part time for my first three years.

I feel like I have a good shot at getting a PHD fellowship at USF but I am unsure how competitive I would be applying to other schools such as UF, GaTech or other higher ranked schools. Another concern is how my GPA would look applying as I got B's and C's at community college my first two semesters but have maintained a 4.0 for the last 3 years(Got a C in precalc/trig...). I would really appreciate any info about my chances at other schools in their Graduate EE or Applied Physics programs. And what I can do in the next year to improve my chances.
