Is that seen as not challenging?

Due to scheduling conflict, I didn't take gr11 french this year, but I want to. It's not offered in summer school, so would taking gr 11 french in the first semester of gr12 and gr 12 french in the second semester of gr12 be okay? Would unis look down on this? Or would they be understanding?

I'm taking world history this summer, and I took gr 12 Art-Design this semester, so number-wise, I have more than "enough" grade 12 courses..

Wow… if you’re really worrying about this… smh.

iunno, it just feels weird taking a gr 11 course in gr 12…even without considering the whole application process…

i think it would be fine, since they would see that you are taking gr.12 french the next semester. And if you say you have enough gr.12 courses/tough ones as is i don’t see how it could hurt you. Plus, that french diploma/fluency can help in admissions I’d think

So long as you have at least 6 U/M courses… but at least 4 of those must be U courses, then you are fine. Taking a gr 11 course in any year is fine so long as you keep up other requirements and have the necessary pre-reqs.

^ aight, thank you! ^^

I took french 11 the first semester, and it did not hurt. In fact, half of my classes in gr12 are gr11 level, and it worked just fine.

^ thank you for the reassurance! xD
