Hey, everyone. :]

I'm in grade ten this year and new to my school.
I was planning on taking more rigorous courses (like Accounting 12, since I did 11 last year, and some business classes), but my school had to give priority to current students.
So there was no room left for me in any of those classes. :(
My courses this year are: Science 10 Advanced, Math 11 Advanced (I'm irregular that way, no one else has it :$... would it count as challenging?), English 10 Advanced, French 10 Advanced, Media Arts 10 (elective... really hard class, but you wouldn't think that), Instrumental Music 10 (elective also... there's another morning band class that I want to take but I'm not sure if it's too late... semester just changed, so I think I'll be able to), Geography 9 (I did History 10 last year instead because of my conflicting timetable with Math 10), and some random Entrepreneurship 11 class for kids who are going to college, not uni (so not rigorous... these kids aren't going to be doctors) as a filler since I can't have a spare. My school only offers four advanced classes and I am taking them.

Last year my courses were: Science 9, Math 10, Accouting 11, English 9, Music 9, PE 9 (mandatory), French 9, History 10, Civics 10 (mandatory). No advanced classes at that school. I did what I could.

Okay, so my question is: Will grade ten completely destroy my chances of getting into a top-tier school because I didn't take SUPER hard courses? D: I'm definitely going to make up for it next year and in grade twelve, but I'm not exactly sure how.

My school offers AP courses in Bio, Chem, Physics, Calc, Advanced Functions, English and French (Canada... AP's kinda new to us, lol). I'm definitely taking all of them, but I also want to self-study some other ones. When can you do those kinds of things? For my school it's only in grade twelve (other than math, but that's for me), but if it's self-study can you do it earlier? I want to do micro/macroeconomics next year, if possible.

I'm really confused about this, so if you're still reading this I just want to thank you for bearing with me. :P Okay, so I have the option of taking Physics 11 this year in summer school (just July). Should I take it? I know that colleges want to see that you have taken the most rigorous courses available to you. If I took Physics 11 in summer school, I'd have Physics 12 in grade 11 (AP), but no Physics in grade 12. So, what should I do?
I also have to get a mandatory Careers 10 credit, which wouldn't fit in my timetable this year, so should I take THAT in summer school instead of physics, or just take it next year? It's only for one semester, not full year.
