Is it true that WF has alot of grade deflation?

I think it depends on the major. You are more likely to hear this complaint from the pre-med students and the students in Calloway - the business school. I don’t think it is as much of an issue for most liberal arts majors.

One professor told me that there actually exists some grade inflation in the humanities and economics. Grade deflation in areas such as math and science, however, does seem to exist. I have no idea with regards to the business school.

I am a science/humanities double major and I remember trying really hard to get a B in 100 level math but getting an A just by skimming through the textbook and writing some papers in a 200 level classics class. Not that my experience applies to everyone, but this seems to be true in general (in other schools as well). Also, it really depends on the professor.

I agree with Hucmenzu on it depending on the teacher. You are likely to encounter more grade issues in business and pre-med classes but I have not had much of an issue in ANY class outside of the business school with the exception of just one psychology course (granted, I have taken exactly zero science courses).
