Grade inflation/deflation

are there grade inflation/grade deflation problems at CC or SEAS?

grade inflation wouldn't be a problem to me ;-)

Columbia, I believe, has a slight degree of inflation, but, unfortunately, I doubt it's as high as HYP's.

I think grade inflation does exist somewhere. You really have to work for your A's but it's pretty hard to get C's also.

From what I can tell, Columbia has less inflation than some - getting As takes effort in most classes, though grading standards may vary by prof.

As with all engineering schools, the typical SEAS engineer has a GPA of 2.7 (C+). This is just general deflation all across the board for all similar schools.

Columbia doesn't seem to have nearly as much as harvard, yale and princeton where it seems most get A's with a few B's
