I didn't know there was such high grade inflation at Dmouth, I have to say I'm surprised...how can no classes have medians of Cs? I know at UC Berkeley, where my sis goes, classes have median grades of C's and D's. I don't know if I should by happy or sad about this grade inflation thing. Do you think its harmful in the end in terms of graduate school?

No, because it isn't as rampant at schools such as Harvard or Stanford. Yes, there is grade inflation but there are schools that are far worse and grad schools know this.

Grade inflation is your best friend to be honest. Its much more in check than at places like Harvard though. Basically almost no one at these places are C and D students, so giving them out seems unfair as opposed to other places. The system is basically an A is very very difficult, an A- takes alot of work and some luck, B+ much work but not as much luck, B is normal for a hard worker, B- is easy, C+ and below is average.
