i was reading an article the other day about harvard, yale and some other ivies beginning to faze out their grade inflation policies..to what extent is this true?

NO MORE...it's much harder to get honors or something according to a crimson article I read...

Yeah, I think those graduating with honors went down from 90% to 50%

these courses are HARD...I'm taking intro bio even after getting 5 on AP (the AP will confer ONLY 1 credit...I'm taking bio again to get two credits)...the prof's exams are MUCH HARDER THEN ANY AP BIO EXAM...

Hyper2400 -- You guys had exams already?

No I looked at archive of past exams our prof posted on his site...A lot of studying necessary...I really have to know the subject matter (biology) in detail...his exams test very fine points of understanding...

i took bio with Dr. Fixsen, and it was "fun".... got B- lol
even with cliffs

I am taking bio with Dr. Fixsen...

Don't you just love the musical prelude :)
and he'll give free chocolate for genetics units :)

well, i took the bio class without ever taking a bio class before, and i found it extremely difficult. and my english skills are really bad, i couldn't understand most of the reading lol which resulted in my poor score.
the exams are very comprehensive as you can see, but even if you end up with Cs and Ds on exams, you can still get B-ish, just do well on labs, I had Lancing, he was awesome :)
