Assignment :Are decisions made quickly just as good as decisions made slowly and carefully ?
My response :

People usually assume that the quality of a decision is directly related to the time and effort that went into making it quickly. Decisions that made quickly are not always the best because one may not see all the available aspects of his or her decisions. I think that slowly decisions that made carefully are better than the decisions made quickly. We believe that we are always better off gathering as much information as possible and then spending as much time as possible analyzing that information.

One example for this is Mae Zedong the China’s leader who led to a catastrophic famine that killed millions of people during 1960’s .Mae took a fast decision without much of elaboration; he did not think wisely about his opinion. His scheme of ‘’Great leap Forward’’ in which all people move to live in communes and produce rudimentary steal. Unfortunately his plan failed because stones of steal were not able to be used in any factory. As the result millions of people were killed by the unwisely decision. Quick decisions could be the main reason of sadness like what had happen with China.

Another example is my friend Helen. Helen is my best friend who does not miss any lecture. Her friends decided to travel for one week in New York. So they told her to decide quickly in order to travel with them. She decided to travel with them without caring about her lectures. At this time there was an important exam in her collage. As the result she failed at it and retook this subject. Helen was upset form her quick decisions. She paid a lot for her carless choices

At least, people would better to make a slowly decisions in order to avoid negative consequences. Decisions that made quickly cannot be as good as decisions made slowly and cautiously. People have to think over and over again before making a decision. Sometimes it's the smallest decisions that can change your life forever said by Keri Russell

Overall: 4-5 out of 12

Your introduction is rather confusing. Your first sentence implies that you would think differently from “people,” yet your thesis is exactly the same. You also don’t have a strong, tie-in thesis at the end of the introduction. Just adding something like “Since the quality of a decision is directly related to the amount of time and effort put in, decisions made slowly are superior.”

By the way, the Chinese leader is Mao Zedong, not Mae Zedong. Since you used Mae a few times, it’s likely not a typo. By the way, I don’t believe there is historic fact to support your argument that Mao made a swift decision. In fact, it is more likely that he made a deliberate decision, since he was doing his best to move the country forward, and he didn’t want to lose power.

Speaking candidly, your grammar is really bad. Practice all the SAT grammar stuff. Just by correcting the grammar, you might be able to get a 6-7 out of 12 instead.
