The subject of the trends of change in the world has and will be a subject of ambivalent views. Some people believe that the world is changing for the worse because of present circumstances. What they don’t comprehend is the fact of optimistic and hopeful changes happening across the world. Although the world seems to be getting worse, the truth of the matter is its getting better as exemplified through history, and current events.

After World War I, many people were overjoyed that the war which has plagued many nations was over. One of the results of the end of the world war was that many of the Allies wanted to blame the cause of the war to Germany. On the contrary, President Woodrow Wilson wanted to forgive Germany’s debts and did so through acts such as the Marshall Plan. The Marshall Plan provided loans to Germany for its economic and political balance. This revealed that world harmony was inevitably coming to be and also spoke of a gradual promising future for all nations.

Today, many changes are occurring in the world for improvement. For example, forests are being preserved along with endangered animals. Preservation of the Earth reveals that multitudes of nations are coming to perceive the fact that the planet must be preserved for future generations. Attitudes have changed about the importance of preservation- for once it was a negligible issue, but now is an issue of paramount importance. In addition, many nations are reducing the emission of carbon dioxide to help preserve the atmosphere. As a result of world unity, the world is undergoing a metamorphosis for the better.

The world is gradually coming to improve in small, but significant patterns. One can examine that changes are being made to implement peace and stability across the world.
