Grade of AP exam

Hello.
My question regards the final grade of an AP course. If one did poorly on the exam, must the grade be submitted? How much weight does or does it not add to in the admission if you did poorly? And if one completed 5 years of lang .with 4 of them being straight A with the 5 ending in an C will all my hard work in vain for a top school? Thanks in advance.

If you submit your AP scores now (rather than at the end of the year), colleges will see that your class deflated grades. (A C should in theory equate to a 3, where as a 5 would be an A).

However, a C is generally not a good thing ever. But they look at the big picture.

I dont mean to be stupid, but I am not sure what you mean. The C wasnt AP spanish, just honors 5.The poor grade was in another AP.Took 2 AP exams one came out a 4 , and no I am sorry to say was a 1.But I tried...Can I just have the 4 reported or must both ?
